Beach Handball Sessions in Toronto Back this summer

Looking for a new way to spend your Saturday mornings this summer? Handball Club Toronto is bringing beach handball to the sand at Woodbine Beach, and everyone is welcome to come try it out.

Join every Saturday at 10am through 2pm at Woodbine Beach for open beach handball sessions. Whether you’ve played indoor team handball before, come from another sport entirely, or have never touched a handball in your life, this is a low-pressure, high-energy way to get moving, meet new people, and experience one of the fastest-growing beach sports in the world.

Beach handball is fast, acrobatic, and a ton of fun. Think of the athleticism of volleyball combined with the pace and creativity of team handball, played barefoot in the sand. No experience necessary, just bring your energy and a willingness to dive for a few sandy saves.

What to bring: Comfortable athletic wear, sunscreen, and your own water or sports drink to stay hydrated, the sun and sand mean you’ll need it more than you think.
